What We Did

What We Did

We tapped into one of TikTok’s biggest country music moments - the explosive surge around Dasha’s hit Austin   We supercharged UGC growth by leaning into the platform’s dance culture, emerging organic trends, and the momentum already building across country music in 2024.

Having already worked on standout country-driven successes for Beyoncé (Texas Hold 'Em), Noah Kahan and Morgan Wallen, we brought these learnings directly into the campaign for Austin, allowing us to drive UGC to over 700,000+ new videos.

By combining trend seeding, creator-led experimentation and high-performing POV formats, we turned an already rising moment into a full cultural breakout.

Fuelling the dance trend

Fuelling the dance trend

The Austin dance was already blowing up, with even non-dancers joining in. Its easy, repeatable choreography made it a UGC goldmine, and early results showed massive engagement across demographics.

We jumped in to keep the dance trend going and maximize creator participation. To encourage more entries, we broadened the creative brief, inviting creators to put their own spin on the dance and embrace fun, personality-driven takes. We encouraged humor, inclusivity, and where possible, country-inspired visuals to make the trend feel relatable and engaging for everyone.

With millions of views in Phase One alone, these posts amplified the dance trend, driving it into a major spike on TikTok.

Amplifying organic trend

Amplifying organic trend

As new trends were naturally emerging on the sound, we shifted gears. We opened things up for creators to explore formats that best suited their content style, letting us fish for new high-potential trends.

  • This unlocked a mix of formats, including the revived “play this to see if he looks” trend (which previously exploded with Tyla’s Water). We also saw hype content, comedic POV storytelling, and country-aesthetic posts. By diversifying the content in this way, we were able to engage a wider audience and keep the momentum building across TikTok.

This organic, multi-format strategy drove a significant spike in awareness, with Dasha herself interacting with our creators’ content. The cultural loop was complete.
