It was a real highlight to help bring The Rolling Stones onto TikTok, breathing new life into their iconic hits and connecting them with a wider audience - including Gen Z 🚀
As this was their introduction to TikTok, we launched a multi-song challenge to see which tracks and trends creators naturally gravitated towards. This approach let us quickly spot what was resonating most - highlighting the top-performing sounds and uncovering organic trends as they emerged.
Here’s how each phase played its part.
Creators Choice
By letting creators choose the sound that resonated with them most, we made sure every post felt natural and genuinely aligned with their style. Right from the start, we saw strong reactivity and great engagement across the campaign, with creators really leaning into the music!
One format in particular began to stand out was the lyric-led POV content. This started popping up again and again across the feed. Spotting this early, we leaned into it further, amplifying the trend while still keeping the brief flexible and allowing creators to stick with the songs they connected with most. This balance helped maintain authenticity while giving the strongest content style room to grow.
Once Phase 1 revealed which sounds and trend were connecting most strongly, we leaned straight into it. POV lyric-led content quickly stood out as the most reactive style, so we shifted focus toward amplifying those posts and sounds that were already gaining traction.
By doubling down on the best-performing tracks and encouraging more creators to tap into the POV trend, we were able to scale this without forcing it. Creators still had freedom to choose the sound that resonated with them, but with clearer direction around what audiences were responding to most. This helped turn early momentum into sustained growth, pushing UGC volume higher while keeping the content feeling natural.
